Level 2: Surf Awareness Excursion, Manly

Service Description

Our booking is on Friday 27 October from 10:00-1:00pm at Manly The session would start with Level 1 skills and once the instructors are happy the students are advanced enough they would build up to L2 skills including going further out in the surf, refining existing skills and demonstrating alternatives. L2 covers the following: 1. Each L1 activity travels further out through the surf 2. Rip escapes on foam boards - variety of methods 3. Catching waves from out the back on boards 4. Body surfing unbroken waves 5. Board rescues Theory: In-house surf education - In-house power point presentation/Zoom learning: •Coastal studies -coastal geography & environment •Surf zones – safe and dangerous areas •Rip education – identification and easy escape methods •Waves – negotiating and returning to the beach safely **Dear Parents, Please complete the waiver form by clicking the following link www.seaaustralia.live/school-waiver-form Please ensure that you complete every field on the form.
