Boongala Gardens- Rainforest & Bush Tucker Tour This is only open twice a year, and a beautiful day. When: 20th September 2024 Time: 11am Where: 76 Pitt Town Rd, Kenthurst NSW 2156 Cost: Entry and Tour $10 adults $5 child (5 and over) Guided garden and rainforest tours covering the topics of Australian flora, bushtucker and rainforest ecosystems are included. The property is also home to a variety of Australian birds, reptiles and native bees, that are often seen during tours. Boongala Native Gardens and Rainforest is an 11 acre property located in Kenthurst, NSW. These extensive gardens have been developed over a number of years by Mal and Jenny Johnston. The property also includes a lush rainforest, which has been maturing for the last 25 years. When you visit Boongala you will discover a wide range of Australian plants, wildflowers and the birdlife they attract. *There is ample space within the gardens for families to have their recess/lunch break.
